Open Mics – Open Mics are in Feb, March, May, June, July, Sept, Oct and Nov. They are usually on the first Friday of the month from 7pm. This is a FREE event. Just turn up! Tuesday Crafts at Shipinnarts! held on Feb, March, May, June, July, Sept, Oct and Nov and Dec. 2nd Tuesday of each month. 11am – 2pm. Bring your own lunch. Tea and Coffee provided. Bring your own craft, learn a new skill with a resident crafter. (Crochet, knitting, weaving, macrame, painting, sewing, jewellery) Or just come and join us for a chat. Tickets £5 on Eventbrite, or ring The Ship to book your place.
Tickets from Eventbrite can be purchased up to three months ahead of an event (On Eventbrite Website, click on “search events” and put West Berkshire as an area to find our events).
Alternatively, just scroll down here through our Events 2023 section on our Website and there will be a link for the events that have been put on Eventbrite. They can also be purchased direct from The Ship, just ring 01189 814504. If you are paying money on the door on the night, please bring cash or cheque as we do not have a card machine yet – thank you so much.
The bar is open before, during interval and afterwards. Light refreshments can be purchased at the bar.

Tuesday 12th December 11am – 2pm Tuesday Crafts at Shipinnarts – Christmas Theme! Making a Christmas decoration to beautify your home. A table decoration, place names, even presents. You can use this time to continue with your own project and share it with others, or just come and chat. Please bring your own lunch. Tea and Coffee provided. Saturday 16th December 6.30pm – 8.30pm – Carols and Cakes! Nigel Butler will bring his wonderful band to sing carols. There will also be delicious cakes, made by Nigel! Free event. Just turn up. Bar open.

A Celtic Singing Workshop! Laura Wilcock is bringing her talents to the Ship Inn Country Hotel! (This is not a Shipinnarts event)
January 21st Sunday 3 – 5pm – Celtic Singing with Laura Wilcock. Come and sing round an open fire, discover and intone together the ancient songs and stories of these lands. We will explore easy to learn vocable chorus lines and songs in Scottish and Irish Gaelic, English, Proto-Celt and Welsh dialects. Bar open and teas and coffees available. Children who enjoy singing are also welcome. Tickets available on Eventbrite/01189 814504 Earlybird Tickets, £10 and on the door, £12, please bring cash.
