What a very special afternoon at Shipinnarts we had on Saturday afternoon!
Thank you to our lovely audience who came along! We so hoped you enjoyed yourselves. We love looking after you all too!
Belle Canto Trio, (Gabriele McKeown, Heather Sims and Helen Marlow) accompanied on the piano by Sarah Scotchmer, performed the most beautiful songs and very theatrically presented too, with fabulous costumes and props – it was truly spectacular! Belle Canto sang a variety of music, among them, Blue Skies, Bring Me Sunshine, Singing in the Rain, Autumn Leaves, Stormy Weather, Thank You for the Music.
Alison Pickering (pianist) played some well known favourites and show songs. A three-tiered tea was served. Delicious sandwiches and savoury and sweet treats filled up the tiers. We so hope Belle Canto can come again in 2024.
