Our Open Mics are held on the 1st Friday of the month. This is a FREE event.
We warmly welcome you to come and share what you love to perform, whether it be words, poetry, music, singing, acting – in the lovely surroundings of The Ship Inn Country Hotel. Jon Whitfield organises the Open Mics and we normally get around 12 people. Very informal. A gentle and encouraging platform for novices. A great place to start! Jon is part of a larger circuit of Open Mics in the local area, so more opportunities to perform elsewhere too. Come and be amongst like-minded creative people.
The Bar is open, if you just want to pop by and have a drink. Bar snacks available.
