Musical Treats with Kingsclere Singers at Shipinnarts
We had the most wonderful evening at Shipinnarts, Ashford Hill on Saturday 17th June 2023. Kingsclere Singers music director, Hazel O’Leary put together a fabulous programme of West End shows, Abba and also a medley which the audience all had their parts to sing. The choir really enjoyed their songs and Paul Freeman accompanist was amazing! Young aspiring pianist Lewis Bond (14) played “One Summers Day” by Joe Hisaishi and “Mia and Sebastians Theme” and “City of Stars” from the La La land musical, the audience loved the pieces. Local musical duo “Twinduo” Alison and Jane Pickering, played some favourites through the ages from 30’s Glenn Miller through to the 70’s and had us all singing along, such fun! The whole event was perfect for a warm Summer’s evening and our audience were truly fantastic!
